A considered edit of pre-loved crystal jewellery

Terms of sale

Last updated 14 October 2026

About these terms.

These terms apply when you buy an item from The Jewellery Resale Room through this website. Please read them before placing an order. They do not limit any rights you have under UK consumer law.

The Jewellery Resale Room is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Swarovski.

The seller

Who you are buying from.

The Jewellery Resale Room is the trading name of Justyna Migo, an independent sole trader. Our postal address is Justyna Migo trading as The Jewellery Resale Room, 52 Scott Crescent, Alloa, FK10 1BD, United Kingdom. Our customer-service email is support@thejewelleryresaleroom.co.uk.

Our pieces

Pre-owned, individually described.

Every piece is pre-owned, even where its condition is described as new, unused or never worn. Each listing forms part of the product description and identifies the piece's condition, included packaging or accessories, and any known marks or wear. Colours and scale may vary slightly between screens, so please also rely on the written measurements and description.

We sell one-off pieces from our own stock. Adding an item to checkout reserves it only for the limited period shown there. An item is not yours until payment has completed and we have accepted the order.

Orders and payment

How the contract is made.

The product page and checkout show the item price, accepted payment methods and any delivery charge before you pay. Prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.

After successful payment, you will receive an electronic confirmation. Our acceptance of your order and the contract between us take place when that confirmation is sent. If we cannot accept an order—for example because the item is no longer available or its price was clearly incorrect—we will tell you and refund any payment received.

Delivery

Sending your order.

We currently deliver to UK addresses. The available delivery method, cost and estimated arrival time are shown before payment. Unless we agree otherwise, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made. Tracking details will be sent when available.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Risk in the item passes to you when it is delivered to you or to a person you identify to receive it.

Changing your mind

Your right to cancel.

You may cancel an online order without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day you, or a person you nominate, receives the item. Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by email, through our contact page or by using the model cancellation form below.

After telling us, return the item within 14 days, securely packed with every box, tag and accessory stated as included. Unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it. We recommend a tracked and appropriately insured service because the parcel remains your responsibility until it reaches us.

You may examine the item as you would in a shop. We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Refunds

How and when we refund.

We will refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not have to refund the additional cost of an upgraded delivery method. The refund will be made to the original payment method and no fee will be charged for it.

We will refund within 14 days after we receive the item back or you provide evidence that you sent it, whichever is earlier. We may withhold the refund until then.

Problems with an item

Faulty, damaged or not as described.

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Condition details and disclosed signs of previous ownership form part of the description and are not faults. If an undisclosed problem arises, contact us promptly with your order details and photographs so we can arrange the appropriate remedy. We will cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described.

Our responsibility

What these terms do not exclude.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for business losses because the shop supplies products only for private use.

Complaints and law

If something goes wrong.

Please contact us first and we will try to resolve the matter fairly. These terms are governed by Scots law. As a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts applying to where you live in the United Kingdom.

Model cancellation form

Cancel an order online.

You do not have to use this form. A clear email telling us that you wish to cancel is enough. Complete the form below to send your cancellation notice directly to our support inbox.
